"This lesson learned,
later unlearned,
if he knew then what he knew now,
well then he could rule the world."
Well, tomorrow morning (Saturday) I've got an exam at nine o'clock in the morning. I'm really not looking forward to it, as it's bad enough having to wake up so early for a class during the week. Having to wake up that early for an exam is much worse, as I barely function before ten in the morning. That said, I'm at least going to be prepared for it, as I have most of my studying done and just need to refresh tonight.
This week (aka midterm break) turned out rather well in the end. We did indeed hit Big Bens and O'Reilly's on Tuesday night, and much fun was had by all. I ended up staying until close, and didn't get home until around 2:30 or so. I followed that up by hitting Open Mic at the Breezeway on the following night, and once again stayed until close. Easily had to be one of the better Open Mic nights I've been to, especially hearing Jon and Terry play both Colt 45 and Ignition on acoustic guitars. I came home and really didn't sleep all that well, not passing out until five or so in the morning.
I've been suffering froma slight bit of lack of sleep this week, and tried to make up for it last night. A bunch of people from the house went to the Breezeway, but I decided against it and ended up doing a bit of studying instead. Managed to hit the sack around twelve-thirty or one o'clock, and passed out cold right away. Unfortunately, I had told someone to come wake me up when they got back from the bar, and that someone decided not to disappoint. Four-thirty in the morning, this person pops into the room and wakes me up, and when I tried to get back to sleep afterwards I found it impossible.
I think I've been up until five o'clock or so for the past three days, and have even been waking up around nine or ten in the morning. This means that I've only had around twelve to fifteen hours of sleep in the past few days, and like I said it's taking its toll. Hopefully tonight I can hit the bed early and get a good bit of rest before my exam tomorrow.
