Avatar
Last night Lisa and I went to see Avatar. Great story, wonderful visuals.
After watching it, I realized a part of the story was familiar, no I don't mean the complaints that it is a summary of all of James Cameron's stories, just the idea of a handicapped individual controlling a powerful body at a distance. When I returned to home, I checked my old sci-fi books and found it, a short story by Poul Anderson written in 1957 called Call Me Joe A story about a handicapped scientist named Edward Anglesey who controls an artificial life form named Joe on Jupiter.
Anyway, Avatar is a great movie.
