Thanks for the info. - I didn't know that. Guess I've only heard / seen one side of this argument with folks from the US flocking to canada to get cheap drugs. Somehow the grass seems a lot greener on the other side of the northern US border: equal rights to same-sex couples, free health care, real concern for the environment, small population, they even use British English and speak some French (love the sound of spoken francais) - if only they played serious cricket..
Something in the middle
True, I'm sure some sort of middle ground can be found if the will to do so exists. The US should learn from Cuba, which has managed a pretty decent health care system despite decades of embargoes. That's an idea - let's try telling W that he should talk to Fidel Castro :p

Have no such fear.. I wish I had a story that involved inebriation, but the truth is rather more prosaic. Twisted my ankle going jogging - craning behind while plodding forward, and so hit asphalt. It did happen at the entrance to the Robert Frost trail, so there's a hint of the poetic there :)

Not sure which one to wish for myself.. But, I suppose any situation where both outcomes hold joy can't be too bad :)
