Summary: *Slow* going serial killer, prison-tale. With deceptions, lies, cops, detectives, government facilities & so on. It's heavy, it's involved and it also revolves around Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" - not in the sense of meaning, per se, but it's quoted throughout & an important element to the back story
Disclaimer: It's a slow build-up...read that again...SLOW. & confusing at times, as I like to play my hand(s) close to the chest. But it has everything in it. Erik/Charles, Erik/Raven, murders, torture, happiness, fluff, the works. But, definitely a dark read. If it's not your bag or your dislike Poe, move along! Based off of the likeness of XMFC's McAvoy/Fassbender, but doesn't really have ANY elements of that wonderful, sexy bromanic movie
