Over the past week I've been re-finishing the bass-boat. The previous owner didn't take good care of it, leaving it uncovered in the SoCal sun causing the navy blue metal-flake paint to deteriorate.

I picked a pretty blue metallic for the top half and interior, and a darker shade for the transom. I used a single-stage enamel paint since I was shooting it outside and a multi-stage with clearcoat would have been a waste.

I stripped all the hardware and sanded it down to the base coat, then taped-off all the areas I didn't want paint. (like the trailer and bottom half of the boat)

I shot the top and interior on Tuesday. This was the result:



The blue tarps are there to act as a windbrake.

I shot the transom today. I'll take pics of that once it's hardened.
