Prompt list for the third Older Not Dead 'Promptathon'

Apr 27, 2009 13:12

Thank you to those of you who submitted prompts for our third  'promptathon'.

In all we have thirty-two fandoms represented (either alone or as part of a crossover) and within those fandoms we have a variety of pairings, as well as non-pairing specific prompts and non-fandom/pairing specific prompts.

Tempts . . .

Tempts . . .

Tempts . . .

You have the whole month of May.

I'm glad you like the look of them.

haha I might write them... who knows. I certainly like the look of them though... oh! question: can I use the non-fandom specific for some of my OFC's?? both over 40... naturally.

I'm glad you like the look of them.

Most certainly. If you do just make sure you put (OFC) after the name so that people know.

Is RPF allowed for the non-specified fandoms? I just wanted to check - I've got a couple of things I'm definitely interested in in the fandoms but there's a couple of the non-specified prompts that give me RPF ideas.

Good question.

I shall liaise with my co-mod and get back to you as soon as possible - it might be tomorrow as I'm not sure of her working times today.

Apologies for the delay with one thing and another, despite both being in the same country, my co-Mod and I weren't around at the same time.

RPF will be fine. Where we say 'fandom' just put RPF.

Thanks for asking.

Thank you so much. It's totally okay, I know sometimes things can get overwhelming. We all have RL.

Thank you, I shall see what inspiration strikes. I actually love the idea of this ficathon/community in general, as a lot of the characters I enjoy are older as this community defines them.

I do have one question, I read the guidelines above - it says that this is the second promptathon with the theme first times, but it also says it's the third promptathon. Am I misreading somewhere? I may just be very confused - that's always possible.

It's probably a stupid question, but I'm not a native speaker so maybe I just don't get what it's supposed to mean but to me this prompt doesn't make any sense: Gibbs/DiNozzo. Death be not proud.

Please don't be offended. I'd just like to understand it. Maybe I'll even be bitten by a grey haired bunny.

I assure you I'm not offended.

I didn't provide the prompt so I'm guessing here, but it is the title of a John Donne poem - Death Be Not Proud

So I am assuming the person who provided the prompt likes/knows Donne.

Sorry, I can't be of any further help.

I read the poem and surprise, it actually makes sense now. YOu've been big help, even though the bunny didn't bite, at least not yet.

Oh, good. I am glad it made sense to you.

I'm glad I could help.

*Sends carrots your way for the bunny*
