I'm seriously considering following Dan to another blogging platform.
Anyway, what I've been up to:
Last weekend went to the peninsula with Sarah. We had a coupon for a discounted stay at Kalaloch that we needed to use, so despite iffy weather this had to be the weekend, it was about to expire. The cabins were nice, the lack of TV and internet made for a very relaxing stay, and we both made good use or our Kindles. The beach was beautiful but windy and cold, as you'd expect.
I was actually a bit surprised by how good the food was. We ate at the lodge which I was expecting to be just alright, since it's in the middle of nowhere. It was actually quite good, Sarah had the steak and I had the chicken, both where tasty. I also had two manhattans, which were manhattans.
Since before the trip I'd been feeling pretty crappy with cold/flu kind of congestion, some coughing, and lots of snot. Found out yesterday it was a sinus infection so now I'm on a round of antibiotics. This is the second time in the last 6 months which seems crazy. I'd never used my fancy insurance for anything but checkups until last June, now I've had an ER visit and two rounds of antibiotics. Not cool.
Dungeon World continues ahead. Adam and I are at a bit of an impasse over some aspects, so we'll see how that turns out. He's in Hawaii right now so maybe he'll just be in a good mood and go with whatever I say.
Work's been really busy. Busier than I'd like. Oh well.
