Probably the final entry in this sub-series where Bane and Cindy encounter Preincarnated versions of legendary figures. They've met (unless I'm forgetting someone) Achilles, Prospero with Caliban and Ariel, Gilgamesh and Aladdin. Bane mentions meeting Beowulf but that hasn't been documented. Here, our heroes clash with the semblance of Haggard's She.
I think I'm going to leave it there. It'd be easy to pit Bane and Cindy against everyone from Merlin to Dracula, but this feels like enough. There are other eras to explore, like the 1950s or maybe a few stories set in Victorian England. A series taking place in Zhune, where all the crazy sci-fi relics came from might be fun to write. I have an idea for a brawny warrior swordsman who is secretly the pupil of a wizard and who surprises enemies by knowing some spells when they underestimate him as a lunkhead. That could be interesting.
