[This is only a summary of major events in the Midnight War. It was chronicled in two very early stories, "A Serpent Must Sting" and "Break the Serpent's Back." I need to write a few of these. There are several 'epic' tales from when I started this hobby back in high school. Honestly, the writing was so clunky and naive, and the details contradict so strongly with what is my canon today, that I can't see revising those old stories. It's too much struggling when I would rather be thumping out some new material.

There are five or six other stories from my teen years that I want to summarize like this, just to get the details straight in my head. The events 'really' took place in the Midnight War universe after all; the death of Angdros during the Invasion of Maroch is referred to several times in recent yarns. On the other hand, I am starting to think that some of the major episodes will turn out apocryphal after all. I went through many embarrassing phases, to be sure.

Some of these ancient tales: "The Assault On Tel Shai,." where Draldros dampens the gralic force. "Dark Alliance," with the Invasion of Maroch and destruction of Hellspawn. "A Storm of Steel," the clash between the crime empires of Wu Lung and John Grim. "Playing At War," an extremely lengthy novel introducing Andrew Steel. "The Siege of Androval," with the death of Atron. And a few others. I guess this is how Professor Tolkien spent decades going over his writing and straightening in out, NOT that I compare myself to him in any way.
