Girl calendar available soon
So, I recently participated (along with a number of awesome artists) in the 'Chicks Who Draw Chicks' contest over at ConceptArt.org. Girls were asked to depict women in different seasons and the winners (top 24, I believe) have had their pics included in the final printed calendar, with all proceeds going to benefit the CA website.
The cause is a worthy one: ConceptArt.org provides valuable help and contacts for artists of all skill levels (and not just for those specializing in concept art). And many of the posters there are professionals in their fields. It's a great place for dabblers like me to hang out with 'celebrity' artists. Plus, women artists - who are generally under-represented in the field of concept art - have their own dedicated forum to hang out in.
