My, how time flies by!
Over a month! I have been so extra busy ...
The company I work for moved its engineering office to another part of the north metro Atlanta area, specifically Marietta. Sandy Springs - good riddance!!!! The drive to and from was awful! Now my commute time and distance has been cut in half.
Our company is in full swing to build its first airship from stem to stern. This has had me hopping. Also they have just about paid me everything they owe me and put us on medical insurance - a first for Tricia and I since 2001. We have managed to skate through our early 50's for 5 years with no medical insurance. The Grace of God is truly good ...
I spent last Sunday evening in Adairsville at a friend's wonderful home. He opened up his home by invitation to some songwriters in the area as well as friends he knew that songwriters too. We had a wonderful time! Over two hours of a good variety of song styles and performed very well, I may add. I would love to see more of this done in other areas of the north metro area. It was fun!!
The Geezer Jam is going well IMO. We are putting a repitoire together and hope to play in public in a month or so. Now that is loads of fun too.
I purchased a sunburst, left-handed Epiphone Les Paul 100 two weeks ago and it's a blast! Now I need a bigger amp ...
