Hate your song
I happened to be listening to the radio station with one in its name this morning. I know full well that it’s not trying to play music for my age group and I also know that every generation as the right to choose its own music. It’s bad enough having to listen to the endless production line of manufactured groups and the incessant rhythms of dance and drum and bass but the idea that this post-grunge or country rock is cool is just appalling. If Nickelback weren’t bad enough today I heard Theory of a Deadman, truly, truly dreadful and to paraphrase one of my favourite quotes if post-grunge were a sitcom, it would be Two Pints of Lager - annoying, dispiriting and seemingly never-ending.
