I'm going to try to start writing on here more often rather than just using this to stalk people I know or to occasionally post a picture or YouTube link that possibly gives some small glimpse into what I've been up to lately. I could've killed a man last year but all anyone who reads this would know was that at some point I nostalgically reminisced about the movie the Wizard (though that may have been the most interesting thing happening in my life at the time). Not that I'm assuming anyone will read this at all or with much interest anyway, but what the hell, eh?

I've been riding my bike to work for the past three weeks and it's already come to the point where when I don't/can't ride my bike to work (like the last couple of days), I feel pretty lazy and unaccomplished and can't help but think of all the gas that I'm unnecessarily wasting. This weekend was the first time I filled up my car since I started riding, which means that Operation: Save Gas Money/Build Uber Quads is, as Snoop Dogg put it: "in full muthafuckin' effizzect."

Which reminds me, I need to stop using pop culture references as much before it becomes the only way that I'm able to effectively communicate my viewpoint. I noticed how much I did it this weekend when me and the wife were at lunch with friends and I commented about the ridiculous amount of time our server was taking ("I wish Trent Reznor would hurry up with our drinks already", in reference to our server's all black attire and emo haircut with green streaks who, by the way, couldn't have been a day younger than 35, making him a little too old to pull off being dressed the way he was, which in turn = Trent Reznor -[minus] money, talent, and muscles....which, now that I think about it probably more accurately = Marylin Manson, but that's neither here nor there). It can be good for a laugh I guess, but only when people understand that 1) I mean it to be taken lightly, and 2) they know what the hell I'm referencing in the first place. Both points may have been lost on our lunch guests. I have to come to terms with either the fact that the 1990's were kind of a long time ago or that I don't hang around enough people anymore who remembers them as vividly as I do, and then and only then can I stop being infuriated with people who don't recall who Snow is.

Plus, by ceasing use of pop culture references, I can start acting all superior to people who still use pop culture references. And I can start hating on Family Guy which I think is what I'm supposed to do now.

Damn. Failure again on my part.
