I'm alive and I'm in montreal. Its pretty much good times. My apartment is crappier than I remember it but still not terrible. Sweet things about my apartment!
1. There are electrical sockets almost falling out of the wall. Really makes you feel safe from electrical fires.
2. The hot water in the shower will not shut off so to turn it on and off you have to turn a valve in my bedroom closet that controls the hot water flow to the bathroom. That just happened last night when my little sister took a shower.
3. We just got new superintendents and they are retarded. I went down to them when the shower stopped working on saturday night and he told me to come back on monday and that it wasn't an emergency. His exact words were "water running not emergency. Pipes broken emergency. You let water run and come back on monday. Then we fix."
4. Because we got new superintendents I no longer have a key to the building. Long story short Spencer left my keys with the old superintendent she moved out and forgot to give my keys to the new superintendent. So now I have to get on getting a new key.
So that makes me pretty much want to say fuck it and go back to Summerside. I just moved in and there is already tonnes of shit I don't want to deal with. Oh well it will probably be fixed by next week and then everything can go back to normal and I can stop freaking out about nothing. If only I could start believing those words.
In better news school starts on tuesday and that should be fun. It will be good to see people I haven't seen in like four months. It will also help get my mind off all the crap going on surrounding the apartment and give me something to do.
Man I'm a whiner. Well I hope everyone else is having better luck than this. Its funny how Sufjan Stevens seems to be the appropriate music for these kinds of situations.
