I loved that -- and also the fact that in the zoom you can see the spiral staircase from Countdown's old Secaucus set. They must have brought it over when they moved to NY. I wonder if they also saved the big clock?
I miss the old set so much. It was big enough to contain Keith's personality, plus you got to see him in more medium shots than you do now. I like to watch Keith's arms and hands in motion.
I don't know whether the second one has that pattern because it was printed on textured paper, or because it got screened twice before it was scanned into the computer.
That's where I got it! I have that site bookmarked. ;D There's several great photos there; I was especially amused by the closeup of his dental work, LOL.
He was so slim then!
He was! I miss it a bit, but I don't mind him being thicker now - it just means there's more for me to love. ;)
Yeah, it's hard to keep the weight down if you stop smoking unless you do a lot of walking or otherwise exercise a lot. Keith's job is pretty sedentary, unfortunately.
Also keep in mind that Keith's been spending way, way too much time in hospital waiting rooms lately and it's been a tough stressful year besides. In my experience, a healthy diet often goes straight out the window in those circumstances.
The pattern results from a bad scan. You need to descreen a scan when scanning from any printed source (magazine, trading card, etc.). If not, you get that pattern, known as a mosaic pattern. :(
I didn't know you could descreen photos -- that's pretty cool! I come from an offset printing background, and in offset you get that pattern (called moray or moire') if you re-screen a photo that's already been screened.
And did you note where it says "Watch Keith as he goes one-on-one with today's biggest newsmakers"? The Big Show on MSNBC not only had opposing viewpoints -- he actually moderated panel discussions. (He says he hated it. However, the critics loved it.)

Way bigger than I needed here, though.

Plus, he was smoking backing in the day - very happy that he gave that up!
