(no subject)
Well I graduated this weekend. I can add "MDiv" to the alphabet soup behind my name. Melisant and I went ahead and drove to Waxahachie, TX for the ceremony. In some respects, it gave me a bit of closure (like a funeral)... which is nice. Some of the stress seems to be leaving quicker than other semesters.
What was disappointing was that my $90k degree did not earn me an actual signature on my diploma! In fact, it isn't even a particularly good print. I looks cheap and grainy. There were only 220 degrees total awarded this weekend. They could have at least signed the graduate degrees personally (there were only 58 of those... of which only 7 were MDiv's).
Oh well, it is over. Now to decide if I will have this one framed, or put away somewhere safe.
