Hmmmmmmm, weekend.
Texas has been watching Battlestar from the beginning, which means I have been watching a bit with her.
Resistance. ♥ Sam Anders. ♥ The epic shot of Kara's cleavage. ♥
Home, Pt 1. ♥ The kiss. ♥ All things Helo ♥
Final Cut. ♥ The towel. 'Nuff said.
So there was Battlestar and pong and a science themed party wherein Texas and Other Roommate Boy just laughed at me while a creeper danced on me. Eventually Texas saved me, but the period of laughing was much too long, thankyouverymuch. Dancing with Texas = ♥
But really. Science themed party. Dry ice to make fog. People dressed as gold, silver, copper, Bill Nye, a proton (that one was Texas). It was great. I pretended my dress was made only of patterns found in nature. I really just thought it was cute.
Then home for more pong plus more snuggles and more Battlestar with Texas. It was a good night.
Saturday was soccer day and Cincinnati chili night. Soccer game was EXCITING. Roommate Boy, Other Roommate Boy and another friend (well actually lots of other friends, but another important friend, who I have decided to name Emerald) play on the team. We almost scored a million times, then finally scored at the end on a long long shot just over the head of the goalie. I love soccer 'cause in high school I got used to watching my brother play twice a week all fall. Brother love & soccer love were some of the better parts of high school.
Also, at one point a kid on the other team got a ball in the face and The Boyfriend and I, at the same time, yelled, "IN THE FACE!" We are kind of the same person (and kind of not good people when it comes to watching our friends play soccer).
After the game I cooked Cincinnati chili for the rest of the day for housemates and friends. I found it delicious; they seemed to at least like it. I don't think we are great at telling people when they do well. Though Texas made coffee cake this morning and I made an effort to let her know it was delicious (eating three pieces in like twenty minutes probably showed that pretty well).
Work today, then I made my first ever omelette. Crazy, right? I love omelettes, but it was my first I made on my own (with The Boyfriend's help, but mostly on my own). And it was delicious, in case you were wondering.
Last week before spring break. Two midterms and a first draft of a paper, but then SPRINGGGGGGG BRRRRREEEEAAAAAAKKKKKKK! Going to Roommate Boy's house! I am the last person in our group who has never been there! I am very excited. Also, REDWOODS. So much fun.
I need a recipe for corn bread. Southern friends (that's basically all of you), I'm looking at you.
Sports Night. Then bed. Tickets to baseball soon. ♥
