Firefly and kids
Ok so I and my girlfriend have watched the whole season of Firefly. It was a great show, but it lived up to its name. A brief flash and then it is gone. Haven't watched Serenity yet, but I look forward to it. Even though it was thinly veiled, it was interesting how the episodes linked to each other. They tried to have a continuity and that is rarely done. Great show, great cast, bad network for pulling it.
Sidenote: While My girlfriend and I were going to watch the last disc of Firefly we ordered a couple of Pizzas. A deluxe spinach alfredo with bacon, tomato, chicken, and a hawaiian. In any case we ordered it, it came and a couple of kids had followed the pizza guy to our door. Even before he took out the pizzas they were begging for a slice:
Kid 1: Can I have a slice?
Girlfriend: No
Kid 2: Can I have a slice, I am cuter than he is!
Girlfriend Well my boyfriend is cuter than both of you so no.
Is it just me or do kids think they are the best thing since sliced bread and master manipulators? They will probably grow and treat everyone else like they are stupid and expect to be waited on hand and foot by everyone else....Sheesh
