Halloween Costume
I've decided on a costume for Halloween, Samhain (pronounced Sow-Win or Sow In). I am going to be like so many other fanboys and be Sephiroth. I have the leather pants, the leather gloves, the leather coat, and the wig. Now I just need to get the shoulder pads and even wrist cuffs if I can. I also have a sword, but I probably can't go walking down the street with it so I will probably carry my wooden sword. And maybe get some temporary dye to dye my eyebrows and such. I'll probably wind up looking closer to a drow. Who cares whatever. Why Sephiroth? First of all he's hot! Yeah I am straight. Yet I can say he is hot. Secondly I like him. He is kind of tragic. He is the son of Hojo and one of his lackeys (confirmed by square enix documentation as well as Hojo's line in game of "How would he feel to know that I am his father." Or something to that accord. Apparently there is a rumor that has been going around that he is Vincent's son. Nope Square says Hojo I am sticking to that story >P. But seriously, he has been troubled for so long. He had awesome power and skill and no idea where it came from. Was told one thing then find out he was an experiment. I feel kind of bad for him. And even now he can't really die. He refuses it. Oh and he's hot too!
Amongst all the villains he is the most loved and hated. Some say Kefka was better. He killed so many people. But he was annoying. It was like the Joker on crack then finally given god-like power. Sephiroth was powerful before and only got stronger. The funny thing is with some of the final fantasies, people die and no one can use a phoenix down except your party? Whole cities, towns, castles and such die. And no person can cast life or use a phoenix down except on or in your party sheesh. Sorry for the rants.
In any case that's what I am working with in my head right now. Maybe I'll post pics once I am done with the outfit.
