There are times when I wish I lived somewhere else. In another country, for example. Today is definitely one of those days.
I'm used to the fact that films premiere here later than in the country they are from, and sometimes they even don't at all. I can understand that there might be some logistic problems, and translation can take some time. That's why I'm not throwing a fit because of the fact that I won't be able to see The Dark Knight for another week. I'll survive.
What I can't understand is that I can't buy Breaking Dawn anywhere in Poland. Well, not exactly. I can buy it, but they say (one of the biggest on line bookstores) that they will be able to ship the book in around 30 days. That's a whole month!!!!! For a shop that has been advertising this book for about a month now, that's just disgusting. Besides, there's never been a problem with buying Harry Potter or any other book the day it came out in English. Amazon will send it tomorrow, and shipment takes 2-6 weeks, but I got Eclipse after just 9 days so there's hope. Not to mention that it'll be half the price I'd pay if I bought it here.
For now, I'll just have to avoid opinions and discussions about BD, because I really want to find out everything from the book, not the internet.
