It was Christmas Eve and Okita thought it would be nice to give her sisters a nice treat. She remembered how much they loved the food at the Okonomiyaki shop. As Okita and the twins entered, Haitani who had just delivered drinks to a nearby table approached them. "Just three?" he asked.

When Haitani approached them, Okita was surprised to see him there. She knew it was busy but it was after all a holiday. Maybe he was here to help his family and they were planning on celebrating later.
Holding a tight grip on the twins, she nodded. "Yes, just three."

"Right here," he said as he directed them to the table.

Varu started banging on the table while Varuna tried to look under the table taking a great admiration for her boots once again.
Okita looked up at Haitani waiting for a menu.

"So, what would you two like cream soda as usual?"
Varuna tapped her lip before shaking her head. "Hur-bal tee."
Okita locked shocked and amused. "Varuna?"
Varu noticing Okita's impression, asked for the same thing. "I want hur-bal tear too."
Okita laughed shaking her head. "You girls are very silly. You won't like herbal tea, it is not sweet at all."
Varuna seemed surprised and wrinkled her nose not wanting the tea and asked for the usual Cream soda.
"Cheese and shrimp okonomiyaki for both of you without mayonnaise for Varuna."
Varuna gave a toothy grin. As she looked around and noticed a family that was speaking in a different language. She stood up to get a better view. She tugged Okita and pointed at the family.

"Oki, why are they dress weird." Varuna said finding the clothes unusual but obviously admiring them. She grinned wider when one of the people waved at her.
"Varuna!" Okita said sitting her down. As she observed the family that her younger sister was talking about, she turned to back to her sister. "It is not weird Varuna, they are from a different culture." She said explaining to Varuna as if she was much older. "Like you, have you noticed that your hair is lighter than the other children from your class, that doesn't make you weird, does it?"
Varuna took one of her pigtails and played with it before nodding. She though kept observing the family. Varu who had also caught attention tugged Okita. “Why are they talking differently? Are they…spee-kin in… code?”
“It’s a different language.” Okita sometimes wondered if she was as curious and talkative.
“But why?”
Okita shook her head refusing to answer their questions any longer. It would lead to the “Why?” scenario.

She flipped the last two and placed both two spatulas down letting it fry on the other side. She went to take her seat as her sister took a seat next to her.
"When you girls are older," She said pressing both of their noses. "I'll teach you both how to cook."
((OOC: No problem, hope you enjoyed it! :D ))
