Nursing 1
Well, nursing school has finally started for me and already the class has kicked into overdrive. So far the count for this one class is two big books with 3" thickness (1 more on the way) two 3" binders and one 1 1/2" binder with assorted handbooks. Thankfully there's only one binder for nursing 15. This whole semester will focus on the care of the older adult theory and clinical wise. Unfortunately my experience in the Air Force won't help too much since I did not take care of many elderly patients in a setting outside of the Emergency Room. Thats ok though since this will prove to be a valuable learning experience. Gaging the amount of material thats been presented in these past two days, this is definitely going to be the most challenging class I have ever taken. Because of that, as much as I want to continue to do the stuff i've been doing i.e. watching anime and hanging out on a regular basis, I know i'll have to make some sacrifices for the next two years. No biggie though since I know the payoff will be well worth it.
