I've just been introduced to this game show called "To Tell The Truth". Three people get up and say a phrase, for 1 it is the truth, for the other 2 it is a lie. The group of celebrities is supposed to choose who is telling the truth. They question the 3 and the questions and answers are pretty hilarious. I wasn't paying much attention when it came on, playing on my phone, but they said something about marathons so I looked up.
"I ran 50 marathons, in 50 states, in 50 days," they each said.
When I looked up they had panned back to the celebrities and they started asking questions. When they showed the 3 again, I immediately recognized the one in the middle. I kept my mouth shut, though, because Dave was sitting next to me, and he and Kenley were doing something.
After some hilarious questions and answers, I started to doubt that I knew which it was. The one in the middle could have done what they said, but he is known to do much, much more so maybe it was a trick and another had also done it. About this time, Dave looked up.
"Oh, look who it is," he said.
"Who?" Kenley asked.
"Becky's celebrity boyfriend."
"What is that? Who is he? Is this true? You have a celebrity boyfriend?"
"Just jokes, baby. Your dad is funny," I told her while rolling my eyes at Dave. She didn't seem convinced.
They got to the part where the celebrities pick who they think it is. Then they asked the one telling the truth to stand up. It was the one in the middle. The host asked him to tell everyone his name.
