My caring family
I'll admit, I usually talk to my parents on the phone every single day, even though I'm away at a college not exactly very far from home. But occasionally I get lazy or forget to call, and then my parents decide to take it upon themselves to make sure I'm still breathing.
Voicemail from mom: HO~LA~! Just checking up on you. Call me when you get this!
Email from dad: Hi, how are u? I'm ____ ___, your father......
Despite the fact that my father is on the other side of the country on a business trip, both of these messages managed to arrive within a couple of minutes of each other, which I found quite hilarious.
In fandom-related news, I got my Arashi goods in the mail today :) I bought the phone strap and postcard set from their TIME summer tour last year (コトバノチカラ). There are a bunch of pictures of these things already, but I was so giddy I took more pictures anyway. xD

I can wear it as a bracelet, oddly enough.

They're a lot shinier than I thought they would be. And I also thought it was cool they had each member pose next to a different letter (or in Sho's case, two letters) so that it was:
Aiba: A
