(no subject)
It was supposed to be a 3-day weekend for me but for some reason I got put on the call schedule at work. Note: I'm not supposed to start taking call until June 18th. I was fine with it I just would have liked to have been warned at the very least. But if I say something to that affect Thea would tell me "you should have checked the schedule" and I would say "why would I check the schedule if I'm not eligible for call yet" and then she would reply "you should check the schedule anyway." GAH! Oh well, it worked out, it's extra money and it's not like I had anything better to do. Oh wait, I did, one of my nursing friends was back in town that weekend and I missed the get together! *sigh*
Then yesterday was church and Pirates. It was lots of fun (poor Hubby though gets so stressed out when we buy tickets for other people and then they show up late and yeah it gets kinda messy). I got yelled out by some lady for saving seats. "We bought our tickets a long time ago" yeah well so did I. Plus if you want seats get to the theatre early! Besides she didn't look like someone who enjoys being front and center for movies considering they sat in the back anyway so whatevs. Hubby and I also got to catch up with our friends from college who are getting married in August so that was nice. PS the Carribean Tea at Fox and Hound is REALLY good! Their mojitos aren't bad either!
And today is Memorial Day. Finally a Monday off work. I already went to the gym (with my new mix CD with 6 songs compliments of purple_shoes (thanks hon!) And now my sis is supposed to comeover and teach me how to drive standard. And then it's picnic time!
