First day: field trip!
I watched honor choir rehearsals all morning, which was easy. Then we went to the mall for lunch and I nerded out in front of the kids. I played DDR, going completely against my playing-the-lick-from-Bossy technique from the last school. There is a metal kid at Westlake who listens to opera and goes to Apollo's Fire concerts who is very cool. We talk about Rhapsody, which seems to be my convo opener for every metal kid I meet ever.
I don't think the rest of student teaching is going to be as easy as today was.
