new york was great. while i didn't find the party car, i did run into Zhang Zhiyi in the Juilliard lobby while waiting for Tony Cho. She is tiny. She got on the elevator with me, and an Igor-esque attendant she had was all like "let's get you some water" and I thought celebrity.
I can't imagine sitting through 4 hours of Residents videos like most people did at MoMA, but I loved the program I did see. Here's some of their best stuff:

There were also eskimo stories about a woman dying and being sent to the Land of the Crestfallen "where spirits of poor hunters and badly tattooed women forever snap at butterflies". Whee.
