Am I really updating this?
Walked the stage in June and finished college this month. I took two random classes this summer--summer school was no breeze, WTF everyone lies. Those classes were a freaking workout; I had seven-hour days and sometimes we'd watch four movies in class! But yeah, it wasn't easy. I've been checked out after taking 19 units every quarter this year (!) and one of my professors took me aside after class to tell me that "I needed to try harder." Kinda rude, but she claims I "knocked her socks off" with my last paper. WHEW!
Anyway, now I'm only kinda working for Campus Unions right now. Andi (Haaaaay ADP!) and I are still booking bands for this Fall. But we don't have to be on-campus all the time. Most of my time has been invested in cleaning out the apartment and reclaiming gym rat-status, which is annoying because I have to see the boppers from high school to do that. And just applying to jobs.
The job hunt continues...and I've probably been too picky for my own good. I freaking worked on my resume and cover letter for hellaaaa days, so I'm not about to whore it out everywhere I look! I've only applied to four companies so far--three of them last week, and one last night--but those are my top choices and I hope I get a response. My sister keeps telling me that she applied to at least twenty companies off the bat, but...wtf. I don't wanna?
My 22nd birthday=my most favorite one ever.
Anyway, I should probably go to bed since I'll be driving back to Davis early tomorrow morning for work and to pack my car with more of my crap, so...that's it!
