Synopsis:

My second drama featuring nino. Sho was a bonus. Ohno appeared for such a short while and in an insignificant role. Not like nino's role in Maou where he was more prominent. The show was set in a school setting. I don't know why, but watching this, made me feel so old. And I kinda thought Sho and Nino were a teeny wee bit mature to act as 17 year olds. But then, this was 2 years ago.
Was I impressed with nino's acting? Well, not so. I think the role did not stretch him acting-wise. He just had to smile innocently and act cute. I dunno how Yamada Taro was portrayed in the original manga, but in this drama, I failed to see him as the following:
- high-achieving (they just showed him having perfect score, no studying whatsoever),
- strikingly handsome (er, nino was just cho kawaii here, I wouldn't say he was strikingly handsome)
- truly athletic (eh? maybe the part where he rubbed shoulders with the obasans at the supermarket?)
And Sho... I wanted to laugh when I saw him took on the role. I'm sorry, but Oguri Shun and Joo Ji Hoon set such a high standard for 'aloof-bored-rich' guy. He wasn't that bad in KCE, maybe he always got bullied as Bambi, so that's reel life meets real life huh. I wanted to watch The Quiz Show, but then someone said he didn't act that good either. I'm still gonna watch it coz the content looked good, but I guess I should not expect too much from Sho.
They did air guitar as the intro for the drama. Initially I didn't like the girl, coz she's an unknown. But she did quite well. I dunno why, when I think of schoolgirl, Inoue Mao as Makino Tsukushi is still the best. Yoshizawa Hisashi as a sensei here. Last I saw him with Ueto Aya in the tennis drama. Oh, nino dressed up as a maid for this drama. Boy, was I surprised. But I think Sho looked better in that costume.
I love this video SO much. It never fail to make me laugh. It would be in my top ten list of arashi videos. If I had a list of ten ten arashi videos. I don't. Not now. Maybe in the future?
The skinny jeans! Usually, I would find it repugnant, but they made it hot.
Initially, I wonder why the supermarket. But after watching YMT, I found the connection.
