Synopsis: A group of five medical students take on the task of conveying the "voices of the dead." Kaji Daiki fails to get into a popular heart surgery seminar but is somehow accepted into a seminar on forensic pathology. When he approaches professor Sagawa and asks him why he ended up in the seminar, Sagawa challenges him by asking why he wants to study heart surgery. Daiki replies that medicine is meaningless after the heart stops, but Sagawa counters that medicine also applies to the dead. And so, together with fellow students Ryosuke, Kanako, Teppei and Akira, Daiki begins to explore the mysteries of death. - Tokyograph
Comments:

Ah. serious. medical. So, it's back to that after action and romance. Again, it was some sort torturous watching the show coz I could predict whatever case they had. And the format of the show is really the same for each episode. But I shall just harp on the good points of the show.

The drama always begin with the lead character (Eita) being curious at the littlest details and asking irritating questions just because he doen't accept habit as an excuse. Tatoeba 'Why do u bother taking pictures of cups of tea?' or 'Why do you sharpen both sides of the pencil?' Interesting.

Daiji will singlehandedly solve the cases. Somehow, his questions at the start of the show will help him in the solving of the case. I don't like the part where he had the eureka moment and you could literally see the lightbulb over his head.

The storyline is kinda predictable to me. What makes it fun is that I'm able to guess the ending of each episode. Somewhat accurate, my predictions. There are funny bits, but sporadically occuring here and there. My brother loves the part where they were trying to figure out the term 'snooze'. To me, the show is more on the slow side really. Very long at 11 episodes! They should just have stopped at 9. On the other hand, Mr. Brain could do with more episodes.

There was the episode of an ex-athlete who died and his wife having misconceptions about him.
The father who died while trying to save another kid.
The friend who died while trying to protect his pride.
The guy who was thought to be diagnosed with hep B.

It's so good to be students again. Leading a carefree life. No need to think about the worries of the world. No burden/responsibilites on to carry on your shoulders.

Eita is really kawaii, albeit irritating with his nonstop questions. I like his hair here, with his fringe in the middle. The girl, Ishihara Satomi, cho kawaii too. I didn't realise that she was the girl in HnA and AnS. I like the character she potrays in this drama, but the real girl herself... hmm... takes some time for me to like her. The big disapointment for me is Ikuta Toma. Not him per se, I'm sure he tried his best. It's like he is back to supporting characters. Like his character is just a sidekick. I know Eita is the star of the show, but it's just sad that Toma has to play second fiddle again. He was brilliant in HanaKimi and akihabara@DEEP. Poor guy lah. I shall watch Majou Saiban where he is the lead. Hopefully, I would be appeased by his acting there.

Setsuna by GReeeeN is saikou. The band is saikou.

I shall end with some quotes:
The really scary thing is being disappointed in yourself. - Ryosuke

Forensic medicine kept me from having to go to jail. I never had friends with black hair. - Akira

What effects does a single action have on its surrounding?  (I dunno. U tell me.)
What it boils down to, is whether the person is able to become aware of it? - Kaburagi Sensei
