Comments:

Wanted to watch this for the longest time. My 4th NK drama. Him acting in a different role. A role that stretched him. A role that does not befit his kawaii face.

Our image of people who suffers from cerebral palsy is well, not pretty. But why does he STILL look pretty? Not that I'm complaining. Can he ever look bad? I like Sato Rossa. I first watched her in Dance Drill and here, she played another sweet role. Cho kawaii.

Was there a storyline? I don't know. I'm so used to watching 11 episodes doramas, seasons of American tv, and lots of Hollywood movies. So when this tv special comes along, I felt there was a huge displacement of my prior experience to this experience. You can't do much for a 2 hour show right? Yes, I'm very hard to please. Even if it's my arashi ichiban, I don't expect any less. I guess it was because it was based on a true story, and you can't diverge much I suppose. Bill Porter is his name and I would so like to read the book about him: Ten things I learned from Bill Porter.

Ah. It's tough to be out in the real world. Even a normal, capable person have trouble just surviving, what else someone who is handicapable, and yet have to bear the judgmental eyes of the 'so-called' normal people. I don't know how he did it. But he did. And many others too. To face the world. To get back up on your feet. To be able to laugh at yourself.

In any line of work, there's only one kind of people who would survive.  Those are the people who continue to the end.
Ma~, Ma~, I still have many things to learn in this world. Let this be a reminder everytime I say I want to quit.
