I'm typing this as I'm sitting at a Subway restaurant in Taipei, near the Da-An MRT station. The Taiwanese have no concept of a subway sandwich here. >__> But their bread is scrumptious. I guess it balances out. The last time I ordered a Cold Cut Trio, they asked me if I want my sandwich to be toasted. Wth. It's called a Cold Cut for a reason. This time, I ordered a tuna sandwich. Again, they asked me if I wanted it toasted. Who ever had a toasted tuna sandwich, unless it's a tuna melt? Crazy Taiwanese who heat everything.
Anyway, I'm also reminded of an old obaa-san on the MRT last time. She carried a bag with emoticon prints all over. It's a great design. XD Too bad I didn't have time to take a picture.
Weather here has been cranky lately. For the past five days, there was constant cloud cover, threatening to rain, but doesn't. In turn, it makes the weather hellishly muggy and hot. Today, rain finally came, cooled down the weather a bit, with a bit of rain and thunder. Supposedly, a huge storm is headed toward Taiwan, just like the last five days. I don't know... I've been watching satellite pictures of cloud movement, and the weather forecast people are horribly off. >__>
Blub.
