I have a semi-secret obsession (semi-secret because I'll admit it if I'm asked). I've only been to a (very small) handful, but I absolutely adore zoos. It's been a bit of a dream to be able to visit every zoo I can put my little paws near. I've only been to three so far (and now four today), but each had something the other didn't. Ack... been there done that with the RL stuff... never fun.

And zoos are way cool. I need to go to more. We meant to go this summer, but we just never got around to it...

I never really thought I would have to deal with it (but then again who does, right?).

Summer involved much zoogoings for me (all to the Norfolk zoo). Mostly to get the kids out of the house. Hopefully next summer there can be zoogoings for you?

I like to visit the zoos in places I've been too. Let's see, Los Angeles Zoo (Griffith Park), San Diego Zoo, National Zoo in DC, Erie Zoo in Erie, PA, Indianapolis Zoo, Toronto Zoo, Central Park Zoo. Maybe one or two others that I can't remember. They all have different things to offer but all have been enjoyable.

Ooh. Good to see I'm not the only one who enjoys zoohopping. :D

I try my best to visit the zoos in the areas I visit, though I totally failed in getting to the Atlanta zoo. Hopefully traveling more will permit me the opportunity to see some of those. Those California zoos will be hard to get to though. XD

I agree! It would be pretty awesome to get people together. I know you've mentioned it at least once before (might have more and I missed it?). Especially since Botcon's all the way on the West Coast this year.
