Experimental Drabble-ish

This is an exercise in control. To see how few words I could use to convey an idea, or a story.

Because everything I write tends to be longer than I want it to be (see Star Crossed... and that Bluestreak fic --;;). It's frustrating, to say the least, and I wanted to prove to myself that I could do something short and still meaningful.

Now that is an interesting little twist *grin* I love it! And I think that you have more than succeeded in getting everything that you need across in a short-fic. Yes, there is space to add more - even the potential for a whole story arc - but I think that it is just perfect exactly how it is!

It's something I've been knocking around for the past week or so. I'm glad to hear it worked. I wish I had the time to explore the subject further, but I don't want to lose control of another one. ^^;;
