I arted.
Managed to get something from my art muse. I'm supposed to be drawing Samantha, but human anatomy is currently beyond my grasp. (Also frustrated cause I had started a picture on the computer and my harddrive crashed). So! Watched How To Train Your Dragon and was inspired to draw a Deinonychid.(It makes sense, really! Dinosaurs, Birds and Dragons are very closely in my headspace.) Not very dynamic, it's just standing there, but I'm just trying to get an idea of how one of these looks so I can alter it for another character who decided to poke his head up in my Headspace and started chattering in my ear.
Useless fact: This thing is called a bird raptor, and is an alien member of the deinonychid family. It is indeed flight capable, and could probably use longer feathers on its wings. I'll have to try for a better version whenever I draw Resen... Resen, who has been around for some time, but suddenly decided that not only was he gonna pop up in my imaginings, but that he had a relationship with the current Character of Interest. =.= Not a serious one, but he presented something about one of the other characters that I hadn't known before.
The Dino doesn't look very alien, but who's to say what an alien dino would look like?
