Back from the (almost) dead
Hello, everyone!
Sorry for such a long silence!
After I'd broken my hand I decided to move back in with my family for the time being. It was too difficult to live alome - I couldn't handle doing the simplest chores. The proverbial last nail in the coffin was when I tried to slice a piece of bread and sliced my un-broken hand instead. :( Living with the family was fun, but I had no Internet connection except for the cr@ppy GPRS one on my cellphone, which was too cr@ppy to handle browsing DA/LJ.
I'll try to reply to all the PMs and emails as soon as possible! The problem is, I've received approx. gazzilion messages since I last visited DA and my e-mail box, so it might take me awhile. I apologize to everyone who had/has to wait for my reply!
I finally got rid of the cast. :) My hand still isn't 100% fine, but I spent the last few days of my sick leave practicing drawing like crazy. The results are up in my DA gallery and I'm about to post them here as well.
I still have a long way to go, but I think my poor fractured medicarparls actually helped me to improve my dubious drawing skills. I had some time to read some tutorials, stare at the art I love and figure out what I'm doing wrong.
...Bad news is, after 2 months of lazing about I have lots of stuff to sort out in Real Life. Insurance! Credit card! The Uni papers! The Christmas madness! General craziness! ...And all that stuff. :( But, hey, at least I have my right hand back. You have no idea how happy that makes me. :)
Uuuh... So now it's time to reply to all the PMs and comments, update TJQAD and Dress Code (next week, most likely) and face the Real Life... ;)
