That really is spooky. At least if you have a ghost, it's not doing anything harmful.

That's the only thing has kept me from completely freaking out. Well, that and my son scoffing at me and telling my I'm delusional. I did find out that the shampoo is his and he bought it the last time he was out of town and left it in our shower last weekend. The other stuff I haven't gotten a good explanation for yet.

Sounds at least like it is a friendly ghost! I once had a pair of socks appear in my washing. Maybe it was an athletic ghost needing to wash her socks...

I'm counting on it being friendly! Maybe a long lost relative or something?

@_@ Creepy! Have you thought about setting up a camera to see if you can capture things going bump in the night?

I think if I caught something on camera that would REALLY freak me out! As long as it seems friendly I'd rather not see anything. *shivers*

But then maybe you could be on Ghost Hunters or something! you'd be famous! You have a ghost interested in your good hygiene!

My immediate reaction would be "call the cops to check to make sure that some creepster isn't living in my attic/crawl space, and re-key all the locks." (Which doesn't cost all that much - I had it done for my Mom for about $10/lock at Hobby Lobby.)

Because that's just freaky.

Good suggestions. My son and I checked the house and there doesn't seem to be any unauthorized entry or evidence of an actual person (other than ourselves of course) being in the house - except for those things I mentioned in the post. I'm going to look into updating our locks too because that's a good thing to do periodically anyway.

Rekeying the locks is pretty easy - all you need is a screwdriver and a little patience. Just unscrew the outside lock, take it to a hardware store, and they'll take care of it. You could also call a locksmith, but that will probably be more expensive.

I would be seriously freaked out by that.

I'm trying not to freak out by telling myself that if there is something supernatural going on then it at least seems friendly.

I did find out that the shampoo belongs to my son and he left it here last weekend but I haven't found a good explanation for the other stuff. At least my bedcovers behaved themselves last night!
