Summary: The heater’s spoiled and Jinyoung couldn’t sleep due to the cold. Where’s the warmth so he could get some sleep?
Note: First time writing a member x member drabble so bear with me.
Jinyoung shivered violently.
The heater in B1A4’s dorm was spoiled and the boys had to live in the cold for a while until it was repaired. It was bad enough that this happened in the middle of the winter season.
But what could be worse for the boys? They even had to wear the winter jackets inside just to keep themselves warm and even wrapped their blankets around themselves but it was just freezing cold in the middle of the night.
It was twelve in the morning and Jinyoung was still up awake, wrapping his arms around his legs and his teeth was clattering against one another. The other members were fast asleep, with their winter jackets on and they were wrapped around with their blankets.
How can they sleep in such cold conditions? Jinyoung thought.
Jinyoung breathed out onto his hand, trying to feel the warmth. He wished that the repairman would come first thing in the morning and fix the heater in the dorm. All he had to do was live in the cold. Jinyoung tried to close his eyes and maybe get some sleep but he couldn’t. He tried to move his fingers but it felt like it was taking too much energy.
“Hyung, why aren’t you sleeping?” asked someone in the dark dorm.
“Channie-ah?”
Jinyoung could see the maknae’s face clearly even in the dark. The younger one had a blanket in his hands. Gongchan moved closer to his hyung and then put the blanket around Jinyoung.
“Warm now?” asked Gongchan.
“A little, but it’s your blanket. You should be using it and get some sleep,” replied the leader.
“Aniyo, hyung. You should be getting some sleep. You’ve been working so hard all day and you deserve some sleep. I know its cold but try to get some rest at least.”
Jinyoung nodded and tried to close his eyes but he still couldn’t sleep no matter how hard he tried to. Gongchan noticed this and he moved a lot closer to Jinyoung. He asked, “Hyung, are you still cold?”
Without waiting for Jinyoung’s answer, Gongchan wrapped his arms around his hyung and placed his chin on his hyung’s shoulder.
“Better now?” Gongchan whispered into Jinyoung’s ears.
Jinyoung smiled, he was feeling warm for the first time in the past few hours. He could feel Gongchan’s body warmth even if he was wearing many layers of clothing and the thick blanket wrapped around him.
Jinyoung yawned and his eyelids became really heavy. He slowly closed his eyes and drifted to sleep. The whole time Jinyoung was sleeping, Gongchan still had his hands wrapped around him.
