(no subject)
just got back from yosemite... oh my. I DID HALF DOME! thats a whoppin 18 miles and 8 of it up hill! there was a mile of really steep steps too! ok so when you get to the top, your standing on a rock with a 30,000 foot cliff to either side of you and there is NOTHING between you and the valley floor. on top of that, the rock gets really steep and all you have to help you hold on is a cable to your right and left. if you fall to either side your dead, front, youll probably slide off, back, you and everyone else in your line dies. so im climbin this death rock and it starts getting so steep that i would have to almost climb using only my arm strength... THAT scared me. i have NO strength in my arms! i started hyperventalating and said "karina, im done!" she told me to calm down but i was freaking out so she got scared too and thought i was gonna die so she started crying! i went back down and kina and mike kept going. i made it halfway up the cables though. woo hoo i am soo proud!
some funy yosemite happenings:
i got to sleep with the big kids and i was talking and jar said "you know the average girl speaks about (some number) words per day" i said "yeah and boys speak 1/3 that" and he said "so youv reached your quota for the day bitch, shut up." my sister thought it was hilarious.
then later kina said "thats 3 funnies in 1 week!" cuz I was funny on the trip. :)
now im super busy and have to read invisible man again. then write an essay.
oh my goodness im so dissapointed! i was about to get free Dave mattews band tickets and i waited 1 day and they were out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RRRG!
