I wish I knew her better. I wish I had talked to her more in art classes. I wish someone had saved her. Today Katie Craig, a Junior at Williams killed herself. She was a beautiful girl. I wish someone had made her realize just how wonderful she really was.
I think that suicide and murder are two of the worlds most selfish acts. People are usually so wrapped up in their own pain that they don't realize the pain of others. I wish someone had helped her. Had caught her or hugged her or anything. Told her that in a school of 2,000 everyone knows everyone. When one person dies we all sort of grieve.
It's a shame.
