twisters of interviews

Mar 20, 2008 15:12

unfortantly where i currently work was part of the twister disaster so walking in said area of work is off limits to public.

I walked there anyway because I didn't know how far to go or what. I'm not familur with the area at all. No glass fell or anything so I'm fine. Would've been nicer a few weeks ago when I was really suicidal but, not so much right now. I just left an interview with the Buckhead Library (Yeah, I know. They HAVE a library there! So odd) and I think it went really well. It would be PT of course but like I care. I just want to work there. I also have an interview with K Roger's so if I get that, I'd do FT night position or keep the one I have currently since the Library Assistant position is only $0.51 more than this one. I'm here now. So...and I have three more interviews, except for Sandy Springs Library. I was talking to this guy on this buss today and he said that library was really hard to get into, same people for years and years (He said he'd been here for 50). I figure I wouldn't hear anything from them anyway since they'd said they wouldn't call anyone untuil after the 26th (a deadline of hearing from me about said position). Feh, to use the words of Ne. Hopefully I get the one in Buckhead since it's the closest one aside from Sandy Springs and a job at Krogers. That would be awesome.

I'd be working again and then functional.

Anyway...I'm at work now. Can't dwadle, eventhough I'm here early because I idiotically got on the Southbound track instead of Northbound so I could change my bloody shoes to sneakers... I wore my nice shoes today for the interview with the Buckhead Librarian. Now I have to figure out how to get inside the MARTA station. These ones are closed off.

i HATE these shoes! They hurt my pinkie toe.
