I stumbled upon your journal quite by accident...lol...the first thinf I read was the Bandra 'Mac' accent post...lol...I swear I was laughing for 20 minutes straight. I also happened to be in my university library, and got very puzzled looks from the people around me. Nonetheless, it made me laugh :)...I decided to read on...and an hour later I was still laughing (in the mean time everyone around me had moved else where as I'm sure they thought I was possessed or retarded or both). Oh well, it was a nice change from reading about the bacteria asexually reproduce...lol

hehehe...I came back to print out that Mac Accent thing...lol...I'm so easily amused. Yesterday,I tried my best to replicate the infamous 'Mac accent' (much to the dismay of those around me...especially white ppl...lol) however, I was told that it's extremely disturbing to watch a girl with a North American accent talk like that and after much begging from those around me I decided to give up...lol. Man...I miss Bombay...Toronto sucks :(

lol...no...I don't believe so. Sorry for the random postings...lol...I'm a chronic insomniac and will resort to anything in order to keep myself from staring at the ceiling and thinking that the Boogieman is gonna get me...it's sad but it's true...lol. Even though I don't know you, I'm sure that if we played that 'Six degrees of separation' game we could find a connection...you know...Auntie Anne's daughter-in-law's cousin is married to Joe...who is best friends with Tina's brother Larry...who happens to be engaged to Shirley...who works with Domnic...who happens to be your neighbour...lol. Of course these are fictional names...and any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental. Even though I did know an Aunty Anne...I mean she wasn't my aunt, but I'm sure she was someone's aunt. Ok, I'm gonna stop rambling on (I have a tendency to do that) and I'm gonna go listen to some Portishead and try and go to sleep...although that is probably not the best thing to try and fall asleep to. I know, I know...you're thinking 'who the hell
( ... )

No...unfortunately Bandra is not where I am originally from. I actually lived in Mahim for a little bit and then moved to Versova. Both fine places in their own right (ok...who am I kidding...not Mahim) but they were no Bandra. My cousins lived in Bandra...how I envied them and their close proximity to Happy Bookstall, Jogger's Park, Candies and Andora's...lol. I was young...lol...it didn't take much to appease me back then . Oh, and with regards to my name...Nino is a nickname...my full name is Ninoshka. I don't think Nino means 'little' though...even though I do recall reading that El Nino means 'small boy child' in Spanish. Therefore I could be wrong(it has happened once or twice before :P) and Nino might mean 'little'. Or perhaps you were referring to 'nano'...? (I doubt it though). Or perhaps Nino means 'sleep deprived insomniac...who feels the incessant need to post random comments on other people's journals'... Take care :)
