Plans I have devised in the past few months to earn a little extra cashola:
1) Walk around all day picking up change people have dropped on the sidewalk.
2) Play STEPTO songs (and maybe some Bach?) on my cello on streetcorners downtown after plays/concerts let out. -- "This one's called Montauk -- DRUM SOLO!"
3) Meet an internet sugar daddy in a yahoo chatroom.
4) Answer one of those personal ads in the city paper. -- "48 y/o businessman looking for an attractive young woman to wine and dine..."
I have not actually attempted any of these and my effort in search for a job remains fruitless. As a solution to my money woes, I am going to go to bartending school. I will learn to serve up 170 tasty beverages in 2 weeks and then will (hopefully) get a swell job. I don't know where I want to work, I guess I'll get some good ideas when I get interviews set up. I had been thinking about doing this since I still went to Pitt, cause the Pittsburgh Bartender School advertises just about every week in the city paper, I figured NOW I may as well because with nothing to do I'm just about to rip my hair out. I start on Monday, woop woop.
