Feeling thankful

Nov 26, 2010 22:06

Yesterday was 'Thanksigiving' in America. I like the idea of this holiday; everyone celebrates it no matter where they're from or what religion they belong to. It's an opportunity to reflect on what we can be grateful for in our lives.

I know the months on this island have been tough, but perhaps we should all take a moment to count our blessings. I'm thankful that my assistant hasn't killed anybody for my friends and that nor has Fuji we're still alive, even Echizen all together and well. I hope I can keep avoiding Oshitari we are as lucky in the months to come.

Of course, yesterday was also Sengoku's birthday --- best wishes, Sengoku-kun.

Kirihara, do you still want to move up to the infirmary for a few days until you feel better?

Private:

I'm struggling to concentrate around Kite. I'm supposed to be training him and I'm sure he's going to think I'm an even bigger idiot than what he does all ready. But every time I see him I think of ... the ... um ... well, not-the-right-kind of playing doctor.
