There are several people with items of importance missing... But did you have to take THAT? And what kind of a CLUE is this?
Ooo, it's a mystery! Think I'll give this to 'E'! Anyone happen to have a roster? Somehow? I need that back, NOW.

There's a very good chance that "E" means Eiji. I'd say 32%. However, it's also very possible that the thief have no idea of your relationship with Eiji, and could just be something to throw you off.
Meaning, we should perhaps try to find out who would be the most likely candidates for this sort of prank/antic. It'd yield a better percentage of success.

I think the E may be referring to... well, wherever it is. Surely they didn't give it to Eiji?! It's his Valentine's Day present! I think it's a name, though...
Candidates... Hm. Do you have any data on patterns of theft? Certain years or houses targeted?

They said "...give this to 'E'." If it was a place, they would have said other words like "put," for example. Which was why I thought it might have been given to a person. Or it could simply be a trick, and it's not given to anyone at all.
Yes. Certain Gryffindors have a tendency to do so. As well as a few Slytherins. ...And let's not forget Niou, who has a penchant to...do something like this.

...I meant as far as the current situation is concerned. Where have things been stolen from. I wouldn't think a thief would steal from their own roommates...

Already on it. Students of all four houses have been affected. Which suggests that the individual has no sense of (a)house pride, (b)extremely flamboyant and "flashy," and (c)enjoys causing pandemonium. Most likely a repeat offender.

We need more data, Inui. Or a detective. *distressed*

I do believe L from our very own house is a good one.
