OMGORGEOUS
We've been super slow at work during the middle of the week so I left today at 1230 and took some vacation. Thought it would be fun to use out my first zoo pass EVER.
This little guy was pacing back and forth trying to judge the distance between his rock and the enclosure. I think he was planning an escape.
BUNNIES! How can you not love bunnies, srsly...
I just love how that little guy in the front is sitting.

I felt so sorry for this little girl. She just laid there watching all the people go by. :( The sign said, "She likes to watch people, especially kids." Well, what the hell else is there for her to do?
<3 Peacocks. Did you know they are selling their feathers in the gift shop now? Robbery I tell ya. We used to find those things all over the zoo for free.
I recently learned a few months ago only a very small percentage of people ever get to see a real live elephant in their lifetime. Makes me appreciate these guys more.
This guy came right up to the fence and was checking me out. I wanted to have the mentality of a three year old and stick my finger through the fence, but I decided it would be better to leave the zoo with the same amount of appendages I entered with.
And finally, just because it grossed the shit out of me.
I love our zoo. Can't wait for them to get the skyfari up and running. It looked sweet as shit. However they had a bunch of sandbangs in a lot of the chairs as if they were testing the weight limit or something. That's kind of scary...
