random, disjointed thoughts of the moment
been following the elections recently? i kinda have, it's all new to me: i'm just not that adament about it. I swear there was almost a brawl between the apartments, yelling obscenities between the bush/kerry fans. it almost got real ugly, at least it would have if they weren't stoned hippies too lazy to walk to eachother's houses. so they kept it to shouting for a good half hour or so. after a while alex and i (trying to watch the news) shined our spotlight on them and told them to shut the fuck up. it was gettin' annoying.
I tried to call Dan today, but he is always working, (he has like 3 jobs now, and he wants more) i speculate since he's going to be gone before i get home from school in the spring (gone forever..navy seals kind of gone) he's trying to keep his mind in other places than me. which is understandable, and needless to say, quite flattering. but if i get a street bike he promised to teach me over winter break (the one week when we'll actually be in so-cal at the same time)
Gmatt is driving me down to santa barbara for thanksgiving, which will be fun. he'll probably end up helping my mom cook dinner, since i dont want to, and his mom wont let him help in her kitchen. hahaha! i can't wait to go back down to SB for a while, and i especially can't wait for christmas break. :) i was supposed to go to Glamis with dan for new years, but 1) school starts on like the 3rd of 4th, 2) we'll be celebrating my sister's twenty freaking sixth birthday that weekend, and the first is gmatt's birthday. so i'm torn, but know i can't go with dan, mostly because of school. either way would be a TOTAL blast. so i guess to be optimistic, its a win win situation *aww jeah*
I've got an art project (or maybe two, i'm not sure yet) due on monday...and i have to use 18 LED lights in it, (and make the circut, with a breadboard and 9volt battery) and frankly, i've failed on that a few times, so i gave up yesterday, but i HAVE to get it working by tomorrow, or my professor is gonna roll his eyes at me and bitch at me for sleeping on the couch all class long. whoops.
I hate how september/october are such mellow months, and then once you hit november, it starts to get busy, then december is just as busy..you get a break, andthen january is just plain INSANE> and a long haul till the next holliday.
