Live oak, done and gone
Alo alo,
got back from Live Oak music festival today, unloaded the car, showered and then crashed on the couch. good times.
angie and i had a blast! awww yeah! she left on sunday though, being father's day and all. so i basically hung out with my sisters for that day, bought some stuff, listened to some good live music. then when i was cleaning up camp today the lady next to my camp asked to borrow her broom, and give it to her son--not because they needed to sweep, but because apparently he had noticed my UCSC sweatshirt and was too shy to say anything. As it turns out he had just graduated from ucsc, (stevenson) and he was pretty darn cute, he kept smiling at me and i blushed and took the broom, giggled and went back to my campsite. (and he did the same) But from what i gather he and his family go every year...much like me and my family. odd that i've never seen him before. Oh well, maybe i'll see him next year, didn't catch his name though. Not that it's important, it was just cool to be recognized as a UCSC kid.
Then later today Matt came over and we watched a lot more GTO, but not enough! there are like 50 episodes, and we've only watched like 20. so much GTO, so little time!
I'm going down to Ventura tomorrow to help my sister move into her new place, it should be cool--since i havn't seen her place yet, apparently its got 3 bedrooms and an office, 2 car garage and a back yard. not too shabby for someone her age to buy on her own! I know she's excited so i'm gonna try and help her out as much i can so she can enjoy it, i know she's been overly stressed...but what do you expect; she teaches 8th graders!
my other sister has successfully (for now) moved down to san diego, and i'll see her this weekend cuz it's her birthday. i dont know if she likes being away from home, but it'll do her some good.
me on the other hand, well i made a cool neclace, and i decided that i'm going to do a lot of sewing this summer. make a few blankets and a quilt (of old T-shirts) and maybe i'll make some lamps, or other various...random...stuff to keep me occupied. maybe i'll sell them!
well off to bed for me, since i've got to get up and drive to ventura tomorrah.
