mah fiddle

theriouthly though, i forgot how much i love to play! i picked it up today and played for about an hour straight. it was beyooteeful fun. the one thing i forgot about playing the violin/fiddle as violently as i do, well it looks like i have hickeys all over my neck, and that probably wont go away for a day or two. grrreeeaaat. that's just peachy keen. i have one from the chin rest, one from the shoulder rest, and one from the rivvet that holds the stringboard thing down (i've played for 10 years and i still dont know what that part is called...) i'm a re-re.
other than red sores, i also am rebuilding my caluses on my fingers...i played so much my fingers are black from the strings. SWEET. its been a long time
i really want to be pro at the fiddle..must play...more....
listening to the duhks (WHOM I"M SEEING THIS SUMMER yay) makes me REALLY want to fiddle...i've got a ways to go. darn me and not going to mark o'connor's fiddling camp in tennesse. instead i did a thing at the stupid music acadamy of the west (freaking pansies there)
