Opinion Poll: Re-Editing Previous Works
Maybe it's due to the winter doldrums....But I feel like going back to work on the sequel of my epic fic of doom that I haven't touched since last summer.
As I was starting to re-read the first part, I noticed a few things that I could have done better. I would like to think that it's due to having learned a thing or two in the past year. The plot of each chapter would not change, it may just make it read better. After saying all that, do you find it acceptable for an author to re-post an edited story or chapter? Or is it better to let sleeping dogs lie and just make the next ones better?
I've only seen one re-posting of a multi-chapter story here in the Tin Man fandom and since this is the only fandom I visit, wasn't sure if the practice was common outside of here or not.
